Software design

Based upon input from the client and ourselves we can assemble the user requirements, produce a design, and issue documentation. SDLC and UML methodologies are used to express the requirements and design. UML is a design language/protocol that is familiar to software houses. Use Case diagrams are used to detail the user requirements and are used to interface with the client who should be able to read them and sign them off. Class diagrams, Sequence diagrams and ER diagrams are used to specify the actual design.

Producing Applications

We write either standard applications or Web applications in the .NET framework.. Standard applications have high fidelity user interfaces but must be installed on each client workstation. Web applications need only be installed on a Web server but can be run by anyone with a web browser.

Current applications

EqliLog3760 is an installed application developed in-house for the Testing & Tagging market. Testing & Tagging is the trade name for making a workplace compliant with AS/NZ 3670 which is a standard for testing electrical appliances. The software is used in the field to log test activities. It allows the user to record activities such as tests, repairs, movements and disposals against each item. EqliLog3760 has administration facilities to assist with producing an invoice and to estimate future testing requirements. There are also reports that detail test activity, Error details, Resolved errors, Disposal register, Cost Allocation and Re-test report. For more details refer to the ASTS section of our web site.

Starwood Hotels Global Events Tracking System
This application was built primarily for Starwood hotels to track and manage fascilities and maintenance systems. Currently the system is being trialed at the Westin Sydney. Primary objective of the system is to capitalise on the computer aided events tracking system which tracks all rooms related events and security related events. Logging and developing a history of events occuring on each premesis. Allowing management to view cost audit report and action audit reports.
